I don't like tomatoes. Over the years, I've learned to tolerate tomato sauce, bruschetta, bloody Marys - even an occasional caprese salad. But I've never been the type to eat a tomato with salt and pepper and a knife and fork - until now!

We just had the MOST delicious heirloom tomatoes. So sweet...AND, I made my first absolutely homemade tomato sauce from Farmers Market tomatoes-wow! Who knew sauce could taste so sweet (without sugar)?
I never ate a tomato by itself either. After looking at your photos, I think I may just give it a try..
