Now, I'm not a tomato fan, but sometimes ... just sometimes ... a good tomato can send me over the moon. The heirlooms are here and at $1.75 a pound, they're certainly not a bargain, but they make up for it in deliciousness.

Heirloom Tomatoes
Sunday's farmer's market was a feast for the senses! Tomatoes, corn, stone fruit - in California, they're all hitting their peak.
Now, I'm not a tomato fan, but sometimes ... just sometimes ... a good tomato can send me over the moon. The heirlooms are here and at $1.75 a pound, they're certainly not a bargain, but they make up for it in deliciousness.
