For me, the main point of belonging to a book group is to read books that I otherwise wouldn't - because I wasn't interested or because I was unaware of its existence. My latest read was one of the latter. "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" by Brian Selznick is a beautifully illustrated young adult book that's really worth checking out.

Max and I started reading it together a few nights ago, this morning, he "snuck" the book to his room and continued reading on his own. He LOVES it. Yay!!
