Good Book

It looks a bit like a Harlequin Romance, but I swear it's quality historical fiction. "The Other Boleyn Girl," by Philippa Gregory is a joy to read. And it's meticulously researched, which means I'm actually learning about Henry VIII and his royal court in the 1500s. Highly recommended.

Katie just watched the movie and she says "that's one messed up movie!"

Kim, Greetings from Wisconsin!! I wanted to let you know that I too have read The Other Bolyen Girl. The movie is not a good as the book but you should still watch it. I am currently obsessed with Henry the XIII books. I have read about all of the wives and am currently reading about Catherine Howard (His Rose without a Thorn). I was wondering if you read either The Pillars of the Earth or the sequel World Without End by ken Folliet? I am going to start Patricia Cornwells latest book when the library gets it in. I am trying to break the obsession I have with Historical Fiction!!
Riley sends lots of tail wags and sloppy kisses.

Hi Vonnie!

The Pillars of the Earth is one of my very favorite books.

Send me your email address and I'll send you a photo of me and the Gin-meister! She turns 14 in a couple weeks and we're having a party.
