Awoke today to pouring rain. Took the advice of Snjezana, the AP reporter in Zagreb, and sought out her friend, Wade, who runs a war photography museum here. Luckily for me, Wade's brother was visiting from New Zealand, so we both got the grand tour of the area in a nice, dry car. Had a spectacular lunch of grilled fish in Catvat, then watched the world go by from a cafe on the Stradun (the old town's main street.) The photos are a view from a different cafe that's perched on a cliffside (I went the night before when it WASN'T raining) and the second is Wade and his brother.
