Tomorrow is my day in small-claims court. You may remember the saga of the Peacock Lounge. Reserved the space. Paid the fee. Owner canceled three weeks before my big party. Never paid me back what he owed me.

Did the place go bankrupt or something because that seems like the only plausible reason for him to cancel on you?! Hope you get your money back lickety-split! :)
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. The case got postponed because the court couldn't confirm the guy received notice of the suit. He ignored the certified mail, so now the sheriff's department will try to serve him. And, Ben, he's just an ass.
