If my book group knew that Anna Karenina was an Oprah selection five years ago, I'm sure they never would've picked it. I can't wait to hear what they think. It's a classic Victorian novel, but it's oh-so-modern and really surprisingly readable. Apologies to all of you who read it in high school or college. This is my first time and I'm quite enjoying it.
