I bought a few turnips at the farmer's market on Sunday, but I really don't know what to do with them. All suggestions welcomed!

I was wondering if you cooked your turnips yet? I do have a butternut squash and turnip soup recipe that I know you'd love. I've never made it because I really never tasted turnips..I don't think! I also heard that they make tasty fries as well.
I boiled, then mashed them with sauteed green onions and plain Greek yogurt! More delicious than mashed potatoes.
