Growing up, I didn't pay too much attention to my younger brothers' friends ... unless, of course, I needed participants for my plays or backyard Olympics.
Dale was one of those lucky kids. He and his wife are in SF for a few days and I met him for lunch.
So, was he in the Olympics or the plays? What role did he play?
